About Us

The Reid Century Farm was purchased in 1845. The original barn was built in 1905, the drive shed was built in 1928 and the house, in 1937.

Our family originated from Ireland and have been growing potatoes on our farm in Canada since 1890.

The farm is currently run by the 6th and 7th generations of the family, with Gerry Reid running the cash/ commodity crops side of the business, and Brooke Reid growing the garden and managing the market.  Our history is on this land, we live, work and eat (and feed you!) from this land, and we are dedicated to maintaining it as consciously and conscientiously as possible.

The Reid family presently owns 200 acres and rents another 500 acres. On that land, we grow field corn, hay, soybeans, white beans, straw, wheat and of course, potatoes.  We also strive to grow and provide all the standard vegetable garden produce, as well as fruits and various other specialty items available for your family to enjoy.
